Yes, I know I haven't been around much just lately, but there's a reason for that. I had an adverse reaction to a new medication and wound up in the emergency room one fine Saturday night. It was great fun, involving migraines, morphine, dehydration, anti-depressants and all sorts of good stuff with which I shall not bore you. Added to that, the fellow in the next bay while I was being treated had bronchitis, and my husband and I both promptly came down with cases of our own, from which we are still recovering.

So what does one do to cheer oneself up from all this medical mayhem? Well, if oneself is me, oneself buys books, and the hell with the budget. I actually went slightly insane, and am still gloating over my lovely new purchases. Here's what's arrived so far:
